1. Quality, quality, quality
There is glass and there is…. glass. So, what makes the DutZ vases so different from all the other glass vases. In real estate, the experts will tell you that the most important aspect of a property is: “location, location, location”, for glass what matters is: “Quality, quality, quality”. And DutZ is certainly quality glass. Every DutZ vase, bowl, cylinder, bud vase and other vessel is made by hand from mouth blown glass by master glassblowers at our workshops in Eastern European. The glass that we use is luxurious, thick and heavy. Often our glass designs get enhanced with air bubbles, metals chips or glass shards as this creates extra characteristics, and texture. DutZ glassware is hand formed by artisan craftsmen. They heat, mould, blow, shape, pinch and tweeze every design until it meets our specifications. And because all this is pure handwork we allow for small variations in colour, shape, or size. We like it that way, because that is the distinct quality of the DutZ Collection.

Bright violet, Corn Yellow, Night Blue, Burgundy, Smokey Green, Salmon, Smoke, Beige; this is just a quick selection of some of the colours in our Summer/Spring ‘22 collection. The DutZ Collection always features a full palette of colours from white to black and every colour of the rainbow, however it is the subtleties that matter to us. Colours are incredibly important for our clients and customers. Our interior designer, home decor experts and florist partners really care about the colours they work with. And ultimately also our retail customers, they care even more! So, we make sure our glassware features rich colours of high quality – our colour mixtures are always mixed inside the glass and never painted on. 3. Award-winning Design
The design of the DutZ Collection is totally unique. There is just no equal in Europe in scope, design and quality. Every vase, bud vase, plant pot, and bowl is designed in Holland by our production team. The DutZ Collection is true Dutch design; the collection is functional, fun and focusses deeply on the quality of the glass material. From the head office in the Dutch town of Kampen we design the collection. Our range is a unique and colourful line up where every item matches the collection. The vessels and glass objects can both be used to mix and match designs, for instance to create a colourful floral table display or also as a standalone piece, such as a single tea light on a windowsill or a masterful centrepiece floral display for a wedding. The DutZ Collection features high-end award-winning limited edition pieces created in partnership with glass artist to regular plant pots that look great with a simple orchid.

You are unlikely to see a brand that creates glassware similarly. DutZ is an ever-changing collection of mouth blown glass vases, pots and bowls. We change our creations to create design trends, not to follow them. We don’t hang around or linger, we will introduce novel and new vases designs, colours and objects every season, so that way we keep on evolving. 5. Availability
Mouth blown glass is not easily made at all, specially not in large quantities and to very high precision standards. You may have noticed that there aren't many suppliers and these are diminishing quickly too. Fortunately, we have dedicated workshops in Eastern Europe that manufacture our hand blown glassware. Often these workshops are family businesses where the craft of glass-blowing is handed through generations. We very much support their industry. DutZ has a large warehouse set up in Holland from where we supply our florists, interior designers and retailer around the globe. We keep stock in the UK at our warehouse near Ipswich (Suffolk) from where we supply our UK retailers with wholesale mouth blown vases.
